I bought minecraft a while back and its worked since until there was a java update, now whenever i try to run minecraft i log in then the screen turns black and closes down, a text file appears on my desktop saying this:

ive tried deleting minecraft and reinstalling java, nothing works i need some assitance.

Try reinstalling Minecraft, go to the start menu (if you are running Windows), go to run, type %appdata%, it will open a folder, click .minecraft and delete everything in "bin", run Minecraft, and it should re-install of of that.

ive done that already and ive tried older versions of java, but i think its the new version of minecraft causing this....

I think you're right that it's connected with the update, but it isn't simple enough to say that the update is at fault. For example the updated version might now try to obtain information from your graphics driver, which in turn exposes a fault in that.
Based on the error log, I'd update my ATI graphics drivers to the latest version, run a memory scan (Windows 7 comes with one), and I'd also go ahead and uninstall any redundant versions of Java still on the computer (you're given a list of the redundant ones when you install the latest version of Java from the web site).
I suggest the ATI update because of the mention of atioglxx.dll in your error log, and I think that's probably the best place to start. I can't say that I know the real fix to your problem I'm afraid, but hopefully one of the suggestions will be the cure.
