Minecraft freezing

On minecraft alpha singleplayer i have 4 worlds, and for some reason, when i go to world 4 i can play for like 10 seconds and then it freezes, it dont happen to any other worlds, i have worked on world 4 for a long time and i dont want to have to delete it and start over, does anyone know how to fix this?

did this just start or did it happend before? if it just started probably because you have to many worlds. i recommend saving your worlds in your desktop or somewhere (back up) and delete them from your save. they are located in USER>appdata>roaming>.minecraft>saves. copy than paste the worlds somewhere, than delete the once ur not using. if you wanna use it again than place world(1-5) back in USER>appdata>roaming>.minecraft>saves. PASTE THE WORLD SOMEWHERE FIRST THAN DELETE IT
