I have a mac I got for christmas, last night I was out exploring the nether gathering building materials to bring back to the surface for my castle when the game crashed and I got this message.

I'm now completely locked out of the game, and I can't play in the browser version because of this, and the downloaded version is way to choppy and laggy to be desirable. Is minecraft naturally this unstable on Macs?
