Hi guys, probably women..
I have problem with minecraft, i want to play offline, all is ok, but when i try to click play offline, it loads, write "Done Loading" and then the game turns off.. it write this error in log..

hmm... it appears to be a problem with your java, these are the solutions i can give you:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Did you download your java from another website other then the official site (java.com)?
2) Does this happen frequently, or was it just this once?
3) You should check if you have the latest java version to start with you can do this by visiting this link: http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1 .
4) If that still does'nt work then try restarting your computer.
5) Reply and tell me where your destination folder for java is (it should be in C:/Program Files/Java ).
6) if the problem is still occouring then get this: https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_Developer-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=jre-6u22-oth-JPR@CDS-CDS_Developer (this is the latest Java Runtime Environment(JRE)).

Hey, I've got the same problem and I tried everything you suggested and it still does not work. It happens all the time, I have yet to get the game to work on this computer. (but it works fine on the other two I've played it on)

Alright, umm what windows version you using? and according to what the log says it happend out side the JVM (the java) so it means that something else was disturbing the process. Do you have the java folder located in the Program Files x 86 folder? this is alpha right? ya.
After all that try this if you can run this tell me: http://neolegend7.com/programming/java/apps/painting.html
1) A small suggestion is that try right clicking the exe file and --> compatibility --> try selecting an previus version of windows and play around with the settings to see if it works.

I'm on XP, and was able to run that fine. I tried right clicking on the exe but there was no compatability button, I assume it's a vista/7 thing. If it makes a difference the error message is a bit different for me. The whole game closing as it says done loading is the same though.

Yea, i have Vista, and i tried compatibility too.. The painting i can run.

By any means do you have any older version of java or the JRE or JDK that could be found at C:/Program Files/Java/ .

Come to think of it, I think I might. I'll play it safe and just delete my java folder and re-download it. Will brb with the results.

Nothing new happened, still can't play the game and I can still use that painting thingy.

It was hard to get a screen shot of the problem in action, as it closes the game instantly. I put it up on youtube, the entire error report is in the description.

did you buy the game? and are you using a jar file to start a buyed game?

My friend gave me the game, he bought it not me. The same jar file worked on the other two computers I installed and played the game on (his two computers)

I think i know what it is that actually happend to me i have that one, and using the jar file will sometime not work...alright look at this:
1) Do you have ".minecraft" in your %appdata% folder?
2) If you have ".minecraft" folder in your %appdata% folder then try using this .exe instead of that .jar file: http://minecraft.net/download/Minecraft.exe?v=1289513647992
I think that should do it.
