Hey guys!
I'm new on this forum, and it looks like it's a great one already. I wondered if someone here is able to help meget Minecraft to work on my Macbook Pro. It's, at the moment, not working in the browser and the client isn't working me me either.
First I'll explain what's wrong with the client. I downloaded the client two days ago, just after I bought the game (or at least, after I paid for beta access). The first time I launched it I was extremely excited, after watching some youtube videos I was instantly sold and wanted to let my creative mind get to work inside the world of Minecraft. This, however, wasn't possible due to the game freezing ever since. When I create or load a world, it lets me walk around for 10 seconds and then the client freezes. This is followed by an error message which, I guess, points to some problem with Java. I have no idea if there's a fix for this, but it would be great to hear from someone if there is.
Also, the web client is not working for me. I tried starting the web-based client with several browsers with no succes. It seems to load and the loading screen stops at around 90%. After that I get a message which states that the certificate isn't verified and asks me to run it or close it. after I choose run and right after that the screen in which the game was loading, turns white.
I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to get it to work?
Hey, I'm having problems with World of Minecraft, I run on a Macbook Pro and I cant download Java 1.6, so my World of Minecraft wont run due to only being able to run on 64-bit computers.

Comprehensive post, but you missed some of the most important things that are essential to helping you with your problem:
Which game client are you using, and what version.
The exact error message you are getting.
How you're connecting/What you're connecting to/Whether you're playing single player.
If you like you can take screenshots of the issues.
