I have tried Fcraft, and Mcsharp but do not know how to make myself admin with admin commands on both (on fcraft I do not know how to even make myself admin)

fcraft doesnt have physics. idk about the server is down error you probably need port fowarding. than you try mclawl, it has physics and portals and crap. download it here

Hey there,
I use MCSharp myself on a Windows 7- Home Premium 64 machine. And so far I think it's the best out there.
Before we start, make sure you've got the latest version of the server software, this is 0.8.1b at time of posting this. If you don't have that, download it from the MCsharp website.

First off your question about making yourself admin.
To make yourself an admin, you have to edit the 'operator.txt' file in your '\ranks' folder.
Add your own name there and it should work.
For all other ranks, you can do this in game, by using the '/setrank <name> <rank>' command
p.s. I've had problems with this not working when using capitals in names. so try both ways (example: Thoaee and thoaee) and see which works.

Physics in game:
To use physics in game, type '/physics #' the # should be replaced by either 0 (= off), 1 (= on), 2 (=advanced).

People say the server is down:
This could be either because they can't connect to your computer due to port forwarding (did you forward it correctly? Check this forum topic to see how: http://www.worldofminecraft.com/pf . Read all of it, specially post Nr 5)
Or they cna't get through your firewall, in which case you have to set your firewall to either let just them through (add their IP addresses to the allowed list), or add MineCraft as a while to the allowed list.

(if i done some grammar mistake sorry that's probably because i'm portuguese so... dont judge me plz thanks) i'm having some problems with creating a minecraft server, i download host software from minecraft.net, and extract it to a paste then i open the paste and open the fille wich is start server but then that fille says " 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Press any key to continue. . . " p.s:i have windows 7 home premium.
how i put my computer to ricognize the java has internal or external command?
