I have a computer I am trying to have run as a server for my friends to join me on. I can't seem to get port forwarding configured properly. I have an interesting network setup. I have Verizon FiOS MI424WR Router as the mandatory access point by verizon. I turned the wireless radio off, and connected it to a Linksys E3000 which I use as the access point. I then have a second E3000 running DDWRT Firmware. It is set up as a wireless bridge to boost performance (Connected to the first E3000 with WPA2-AES encryption). My computer is connected to the DDWRT Bridge. I can't seem to get my server to be visible outside of our LAN. Can anyone give me a walkthrough to get this set up? (Network Map below)

I really don't get what all the tech is for. Just find your modem at this site, and follow the instructions.

The problem is that I live in a big house and my computer is quite far from the modem. The first E3000 gives me Wireless N instead of Wireless G, and the second one lets me connect my computer since I can't find a reasonably placed 500 foot cable.

Mmm.

I think that as long as your computer has connection to the modem and it's settings, you should be able to configure it remotely.

I did forget to mention the thing that is giving me problems. The modem is on a different subnet than the rest of the network. The modem is 192.168.1.1 while the rest is on the 192.168.0.* subnet, with my computer being 192.168.0.99
