i found a zombie spwaner and made the place around it nice and clear here is the download link i am new so please yell if this is in the wrong bit of the site here is the download link to my world 2 (with the spwaner)

put it in
c:\users\whatever you admin name is on your pc\appdata\roaming\.minecraft\saves
if you have a mineraft world 2 of your own move that to another file so it wont get deleted
here is a virus scan on the file just incase you dont trust me

Where did you find the zombie spawner?
Was it inside a little cobblestone (the cracked stone) box underground or sitting around above ground?
It's not THAT rare to find that.

They work but all mine do (in peaceful mode) is to spawn pigs :P
but you could use them for traps *grins*

You can use NBTedit to give yourself a monster spawner (although I doubt they work).....
