Just fired up my account on a new PC, and everything is a little bright. Not really noticeable during the day, but clear at night when everything is very bright.
Main issue is that even in a 'pitch dark' cave (including a 2x1 hole in the ground) it is still easy enough to see around.
I'm not an idiot, I've looked around online for an answer, I've played with all of the games video settings, I've fiddled my screen settings to death, but I just can't make areas with no light source go dark. Gloomy yes, but still easily navigable, and the mobs stick out like a sore thumb.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Kinda takes out the thrill when I can see the enemys coming even in 'complete darkness'.
