Yeah I already made a thread for this but it didn't have any answers so I am posting it again and I cannot find the answer anywhere so yeah. When I start minecraft its laggy like usual since it's generating the map but as I walk around it continues to lag a LOT and I think its weird because I just got a computer so much better than the one I just broke and on my other computer it never lagged (other than when it started) and it never had too many issues but on this computer it lags all the time. People might say that I have a bad graphics card I'm not sure its like an ATI radion thing or something like that and I have an I5 processor with like 2. something GHz and I am pretty sure that should be more than enough for minecraft...... so um yeah... not really sure what I should do so can someone help me with this problem since I'm not sure how to fix this...

ATI graphics card tend to lag alot on minecraft, my friend has the same problem. Althought NVidia cards dont tend to lag as much as i have 2 Geforce GTX 480 in SLI and i get well over 500 FPS on the highest settings.
I need to know how much ram you have.
Steps
1. Go to start
2. Go to run
3. type msinfo
4. it should say avaiable system memory, tell me what it says there.

oh sorry i missed the ram part you posted above.
i think its your graphics card as ATI's tend to lag alot on these sort of games, but if its a FPS they tend to do very well.

aw really :( well that explains perfectly on whats going on then and thanks a lot for the help it just stinks that that is something that can't be helped :( But thanks anyway at least I know what the problem is now

Now according to what you mentioned you have a Intel I5 with 2.? GHZ speed which is very good but if your ram is too low and your graphics card is very bad it does'nt serve its purpose.
