Well, I try to load my server on World of Minecraft because I just cannot play without it now. But, when I put in my link for the server, it says: "Missing: Server IP, Server Port, User, Passcode" What does this mean?

Minecraft.net Credentials

Please make sure you are logging in using your minecraft.net details.

Logging in with your worldofminecraft.com account will not work and produce said error.

Thank you H4X! I didn't know

Thank you H4X! I didn't know that signing in through World of Minecraft user/pass would produce the error. I've now signed in with minecraft.net user/pass; no more error.

I had the same problem for a

I had the same problem for a lonnnng time, i kept downloading new versions of the client then testing them out. I then later read a post that said you will only be able to play on singleplayer. I then set my mind to fix the proble and all it took was to go and press the "add" button instead of going thru the womclients list, now i can use my World of Minecraft client.  So if you have troubles with this try to add your servers thru minecraft.net and not the World of Minecraft client's list.

Still Wont Work *with* Minecraft.net credentials

I am logging into the client with my Minecraft.net username and password and still says the same thing.

After it signs in and pulls up the server list... shows a bunch of servers but when I try to login to mine it says

Missing: Server IP, Passcode

I try hitting ADD and adding my server like this:

http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=<192.168.x.xxx>&port=<25565>   (maybe here I should remove the "<"  ??? I tried but maybe Im doing something wrong)

Am I missing something in that command or URL so that it will connect properly. I have the IP in there and the port. I would imagine that if I already logged into the client with the proper username / pass so that it even shows me the server list, i wouldnt have to input it again somewhere else?

Please help! Thanks

Local Host

You'll need to connect to your server with a local host URL. I think this is what you would use. Tell me if this works or not:

Solution

If you are having this problem. You NEED to port forward your server! Also if you are missing a server list, sign in with your Minecraft Username and Password.
