Hi, im pretty new here and think this is a great place to both build structures and gain some pretty amazing freinds with various ideas and thoughts.
I have done just that, we came togheter 3 ppl and built a Dragon Ruin with a temple in its deep cavern system. Many had seen it both admins and other guests and builders and thought it was a cool structure.
But one admin came in ( deep fried cheesy chicken ) and as he claims " Didnt see the city Theme in it " and removed it and utterly destroyed it. (the main structure isnt ontop the cavern system with the temple) whereas I asked:
"You dont see this as a structure but a flying ship from final fantasy is?"
I got this reply and I quote " Vood, Shut up! "
Now ive been to many games and many admins ive met in all sorts where ive been admin aswell. But he could not even explain why only he thought he could use his power to destroy something we had used a lot of time and energy on.
If the reply of someones complaint when hes structure is removed is gonna be " Shut up! " then I was sadly mistaking this for a well set of admins and higher ups.
He could ofcourse tell us to restructure it to make it more of his liking, by giving advice.
But it seems so effortless that he hasnt seen this structure and simply logs on and removes it without question. And when the builder asks for some firm reasons to why he did it. He simply " Mutes " and shouts threats of bans. If this is the wrong place to post this then by all means reply that it is, but its fair to say this needs the attention.

First off, we don't threaten with bans. We rarely ban people. He may have said shut up because he was dealing with something that needed a clear mind and no interruption. Also, arguing doesn't solve anything. Secondly, I, myself was going to destroy it, but then I thought to myself, "Self, would this be somewhat less than acceptable but just enough to keep?" and I replied "Yes" and kept it.. The rule on citybuild is that if it is even questionable, as your build was, It is destroyable for not being in theme. You get no warnings, just a cleared build. We have done so because in our past citybuild maps, we've had tonnes of noncity related stuff that people built (examples: giant octopi, military tanks blowing up a building [that was was very questionable. Since when do you see tanks casually strolling in cities?] Monsters [not traditionally city related, as an actual world city]). My point is, if it looks out of theme, it will be cleared.

Ive read this thru up and down, and it seems to me that yes im dealing with another and calmer cheese here than I did on the actual game. Nonetheless the site had a structual meaning to it from our side, this I see might not have been youre opinion. And ofcourse you have the rights on youre side. That my own builders and freinds in the end saw youre vision is alos true I belive as Ive spoken to them both after the situation regarding cheese. But its not strange that people want to know why theyre structure were removed, and the way he responded should also been less rushed as we might call it.
I do also apologize for whining about the if¨s and why¨s. But set that aside Ive also come to terms with the whole Dragon Dungeon to be out of terms.
As my later projects will reveal its set my mind to more of a city-esque looks (the Colosseum) (the Sphinx Casino).

If you happen to read the rules (linked where it says "Rules"), it states under miscellaneous rules that if you build out of theme on any themed server, it is subject to deletion. This includes World of Minecraft: Hell.

That addition was only added today. Further misunderstanding will hopefully be avoided in the future. I am sure the Staff is sorry for any confusion regarding this issue and you will continue to enjoy playing on the server whilst following the rules.

i got an idea
when people do out of theme buildings in a cerntain server copy it remove it and look if there is place on a non-themed World of Minecraft server to place it so it can be finished
isnt that a good idea?

Yeah, as stated by chicken, saved creations are not synced across all the servers. That may be a possibility in the future, but as of now creations will be deleted.

first off you said

To which Chicken replied something I dont remember, but he never told you too shut up.

Hello, vood00. I removed your structure as I believed that it didn't fit in with the theme of a modern citybuild. You continuously whined even after warnings so I muted you. Yes, I suppose that I could have told you to restructure it but you were not on at the time and the ruled of citybuild state that any out of theme builds will be removed. I later checked with some of the owners and they agree that it is out of theme. I am sorry if I appeared rude to you but I warned you several times, giving a reasonable explanation as to why it was removed.
