We seriously need more mods on. There are many mods, but some I haven't even seen on. There are way too many grievers to handle by myself and it gets frustrating having to do everything at once. I can only get on the weekends now, so moderating is kind of difficult for me. I hope people read this and realize that they should get on more often.
i agree, also there needs to be a list of rules and punishments for breaking these rules
i know there is a general understanding of what to do but i still think there needs to be a hard list
Ok the proceeding issues constantly occurring are as follows. Moderators pay no real attention to guests or are interested in there welfare. This is non-productive on World of Minecraft's part for the reason that if a person is grief this is connected to my moderator application it is called a griefer peer chain. If someone griefs, the grief then can trigger a chain reaction. Due to these consequences I have been crunching griefer numbers for moderators because of their unawareness, and less than mediocre attitude towards guests. Combined with this issue is the arising fact of the control of griefers in economical theory, we say for example we are to control griefers we are more likely the have customers, more interested in our services. As a result, we can obsoletely conclude that controlling griefers eventuates, more productivity.
it is not that we do not payattention or care it is just it i very hard to deal with mulitple people at once it also dosnt help when the chat is flooded with messages as we depend on it to identify who did what and weather some1 has registered or not.
also we treat guests the same as members eg if a guest keeps comming on we will get to know him just as if he was a member and are more likely to go out of our way to help them with stuff we dont have to help with.
some1 can't be greif, they can be greifed or a greifer so yea
note to any1 trying to tell a mod+ a greifers name try pm'ing (@ [name] [message]) them as they are more likely to notice it also make sure to use the correct spelling of the players name including the case and include underscores eg Death_Knight_3D not Death_knight_3d
Learn to adapt. Moderating is a task that is not easy and you should come to realise that. Human beings are adaptable creatures and should rise to the challenge. It is what allowed us to survive in some of the most difficult situations.
ive looked around the forum, but havnt found where to apply to be a mod. ive even tried asking in game but its no use asking anyone anything in game... the chat is always so cluttered with "OMG come check my build0rz!!!1!!" and "how does fill lava, and where am monsterz???", that conversations in game are nearly impossible. Im rather hesitant at this point to apply however, because ive seen all the mods have to put up with, and the aching question of "when will i ever get time to build if im a mod" always pops up into my head... ive watched chat and seen the many hundreds of idiots the mods have to deal with in the Hamster Cage (previously referred to as the "Fish Tank" by yours truely) in a given day. i would LOVE to help if i can, but i would also LOVE to build. can there be multiple ranks of mod maybe? chat mods/builder mods/promote-demote mods? or something of the like? also, semi off topic, but i mentioned earlier the difficulty of chat, perhaps some overlay we can use or something? for like builder and up? just a thought.

Builder mods? I'm not sure if that would be of any use but the latest official post which you can read on the front page says that they are no longer accepting any mod applications for the time being. This may change later on in the future but I think they've got something good planned... Maybe some World of Minecraft mod bots lol jk but yeah no use in trying to submit an app sorry.

Is it only guest? If so don't worry about it to much, just help the users that want to register.
