My sound isn't working right

I can hear my sound but it's lagging alot for instance when i jump and hit the ground hard the sound lags on for about 3 seconds. any suggestions? :D

the sound just isnt very good with the client, check to make sure that is works when you play in browser

I have no hacks on or even any mods.I also use the normal minecraft launcher.And also i get this error that says "The application or DLL C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_owner\Application Data\.minecraft\bin\natives\OpenAL64.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
