Hello fellow miners! (not to be mistaken with minors lol)

I have had a MC vanilla server for over 6 months now, which me, my wify, and three daughters all play on locally (deticated server with a local ip & port-forwarded 192.168.1.120) and also a few friends from around the country connect to via no-ip.org...

ANYWAYS, I want to be able to fly because I'm the admin. I try to connect ising the World of Minecraft client to no avail. Do I need to have the server running World of Minecraft softwares???

I find it very hard to read the how-to's on this site as there are WAY too many sticky's (which btw defeats the point of a sticky imo)...

So what do I hafta do to fly in minecraft survival mode? Thanks in advance for your time ;)

Oh, btw I notice that my

Oh, btw I notice that my server logs an error when I try and connect;

[INFO] Disconnecting /192.168.1.101:52880: Protocol error

That's when I try to add my server as a bookmark in the World of Minecraft client as:

http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?ip=192.168.1.120&port=25565

And the World of Minecraft client reports an error instantly when I try to add a server bookmark and connect as:

192.168.1.120:25565

Error occured while loading Minecraft.net server list. no protocol: 192.168.1.120:25565

(obviously I have NO IDEA what I'm doing lol)
