NationsMC is a Minecraft community that has risen from the ashes of
another Minecraft community. We set out, swearing that we would not
make the mistakes that were made in the past, and by doing so we have
crafted a server that many say is top of the line. We work hard to
ensure that the players will have the best time they possibly can on our
server.

The main world is that of Sky Lands. As we are a Steampunk oriented
PVP/Lite RP server, it is expected that you build Steampunk style
buildings. There are two other worlds other than the Sky Lands you can
visit. The Bottom Lands and The Nether. In the Sky Lands your
buildings may be protected by Factions, however on the Bottom Lands you
are not quite so safe. Your buildings are still protected by
no-griefing rules, however you can be raided and your items stolen.
Many will simply go to the Bottom Lands for their abundance of resources
that the Sky Lands might not have. The Nether is a land where lava and
crushed bones are common. Undead and Spirits roam this land deep, deep
within the Bottom Lands. The only way to these lands is via a
ritualistic portal made of Obsidian and fire.

Airships are a viable means of transportation, as we are boasting
'Autocraft' a plugin that allows users to fly airships through the sky.
All users have access to the lowest level airship, however over time
you can purchase the rights to fly more luxurious and powerful ships
with in game currency or by donating to the server.

We wish for the users to uphold their own rules, to know what is right
from wrong based on the assigned ideals of the server's community. Many
decisions will fall down to common sense, and your ability to use it in
key situations will divide you from the rest in our eyes. The rules that
are set in stone are ones that should act as both a barrier against
personal grief for our players and a guiding force to keep the community
together. We do not allow griefing nor do we allow combat avoidance
(defined here).
Attempting to use a modified client to gain an advantage over another
player isn't allowed. You cannot join a town just to steal their items,
nor can you invite someone into your town just to steal their items. TNT
canons are allowed in moderation, in the sense that you should not be
using your canon to grief, but instead to get to a place you could not
with the systems in place that protect against idle griefing.
