Need help with 1.3

So i updated my Minecraft but i can't connect to any of my servers. It keeps saying
"Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" i don't really know what that means but I'm not happy with the affect 1.3 has on multiplayer. If you guys could comment and help me out that would be great, thnx :)

Yeh Lunick's right.
I did the same thing now I have 1.3.1 now I regret it -.- . All you have to do is now wait for the servers to update for 1.3.1

Idk of any of u can answer this but when I put the mod files into minecraft.jar it doesn't work! I might post this prob on mojang.com

It's probably because the servers you want to go to haven't been updated for 1.3.1...
