I bought Minecraft and i've made a multiplayer server online however none of the world of minecraft commands actually work as i'd like to set ranks and stop griefing. How am I able to enable the command features?

well some servers like mine have a command /give tht gives u anything tht u want i'm not sure how i got but maybe would like to know

First off, the World of Minecraft server software is privately owned. You can not get it.
Second, the software that you got probably has a manuel that came with it, telling you the commands and features it has.
Third, if you wish to add features, i would suggest learning a programming language, or get better server software. there is a list of them here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Custom_server_list
