So I downloaded the new version on the World of Minecraft Client, and there's MUCH more lag than there is when playing on Minecraft.net. I'm playing on the same server, and I don't have any other programs running. What wrong, did I do it or is it a glitch? Help ASAP and thanks in advance!

Well, in that case, the best thing to do is turn up the fog as much as you want to. If that doesn't help, there may be programs running in the background taking up CPU usage. If that is the case, force quit them if you are on a Mac, or open task manager on Windows and end processes which you think are unnecessary. If my solutions do not help, then i can't help you.

It lags, the whole CLIENT does. I have to wait +5sec for the World of Minecraft client to move again. Please help.

Could you tell us what kind of lag it is? Does your view go much slower when you look around (render distance lag) or do you say something in chat and the message appears like 3 minutes after you actually said it (ping)?
