Everytime I install the client, it works fine at first. After I close it and just do anything (and I mean ANYTHING), my computer BlueScreens. After restarting, the World of Minecraft is still there, but the launcher is deleted. Is it a bug that affects my computer?

I'm not sure about system specs, but its an Acer Laptop running on Windows Vista Home Premium.

It could be a lack of RAM?You

It could be a lack of RAM?
You might want to end any processes in the background which are taking up RAM or you might want to reinstall your operating system again because you might have a virus.
Have you overclocked your CPU? If so that could be causing the problem.

Extraction? YES.

I did all of the above. Same results. But now the client did something even more d***ish. Normally it makes my System Restore to a restore just before the launcher is put in. Now, it corrupted most of the other saves and now I'm stuck with my clean, vanilla computer WITHOUT MOST OF MY STUFF. Some of my more important stuff is still there, but music, other Steam stuff, poof missing. Please fix?

(P.S: I tried World of Minecraft on a diff laptop. A really old one. But I think Notch updated something and now it requires a better video card or something like that to run it. I'm not sure bout the techie details. Basically it says Requires Pixel something.... Me thinks the old laptop is TOO old.)
