Whenever I try to install a mod the mod doesnt work. I have modloader, modloaderMP, forge all installed. and i already have deleted meta-inf. My minecraft doesnt crash or get a black screen or anything like that, the mods just dont work for some reason. and for the piston mod i can get the double piston by going to creative mode and getting one but i cant craft one. and i cant craft a backpack either using the backpack mod. but the verical redstone mod works. I just copy and paste the zipped mod into the mod folder. could someone please help me?

do you have risugami's modloader? (Or at least the name is close to risugami)

OMG I JUST MADE A DISCOVERY. All you need is to download MCpatcher.
2. Then, unzip the modloader.zip file.
3. Then, run MCpatcher.
4. Then, look to the upper left corner of the MCpatcher screen, and click on a tab 'mods'.
5. Then, click on the tab, and click on Add (this will allow you to add stuff.)
6. Then, find your unzipped ModLoader folder, and click open.
7. Then, click patch.
After that, then find your various mods that you want, repeat the process (Minus the modloader steps). This will work with the Rei's Minimap mod, as i have already tried with the minimap. As for other mods, (I.e. the adventure mod, and others) I don't know if it works, because i just got this to work a couple of minutes ago.
Oh yeah oops i guess my mind didnt register when i asked if u have modloader o_o sry.
