While running my server I waited for it to get it's URL. After waiting for a couple of hours a message popped up. Here is the notification:
URL found: minecraft.net is currently having serious issues with the database. The website is currently disabled, but the intention is for the game to still be able to login.

They're just trying to fix the login panel so people can log in. So, that's why the client is popping up blank with no servers.
I'm pretty sure it will be fixed by tomorrow! Be patient! This is only a small issue!

its Teusday and still no servers this has been going on for 18 hours. The only way you can play if u now the server url but the links for World of Minecraft takes me to singleplayer mode!? 0.o

Remember that the office is in construction, could have multiple reasons why everything is down. Having to rely upon construction to finish in a time frame is frankly stupid. It might be down until "Thursday" or "Never" for it to be back up!

well thats a relief i was just about to register a roblox account till i logged onto minecraft to c the servers fixed.
