no such thing as run.bat?

i've tried and tried again to download the World of Minecraft clien but as I get to the final stage of the process i keep getting an alert from mt macbook saying run.bat does not exist. what am i doing wrong and how can i fix this?

You may of followed the instructions wrong. You probably did the Windows setup instead of Mac. Did you also download the classic minecraft.jar with the link given?
