nooooo minecraft crashed

I desided to be so clever and download a texture pack but when i putted it in að texture pack folder in minecraft it crashed, and keep saying that when I open the game: minecraft crashed blabla :( And I was gettin so excited because it was super mario texture pack ,but no ... so how's the bright one who can tell me what's wrong??:D

maybe you've removed the
maybe you've removed the first texture pack, NEVER DO THAT, minecraft then will crash, also will it crash if you have replaced the original texture pack with a another one, exept the elligal ones
