First, you need to start ranking up on World of Minecraft|WoMRealms which is the classic minecraft server, you rank up by building (just so you know), To start being able to rank on the classic server you first need to create an account on www.womrealms.com .  To make an account type /member in game on the classic server.  follow the directions that it states. After you achieve artist rank on World of Minecraft|Realms, then you will be able to play on the SMP server.
