Install an accelerated video card driver.
Look... Windows will work with your video card by default... But if you want your computer to run fast, you need to install the manufacturer's drivers.
To do this you need to know the make/model of your video card and search around for the latest drivers for your operating system on the manufacturer's site. (It costs nothing but a bit of time to work out the type of card you have and to search on Google)
Why do you want to do this? Because if you don't then all of your 3D applications/games will run like crap. Haven't you wondered why everything has such a low frame rate on your computer?
Usually the very first thing most people do when they install a new operating system is to replace the default video drivers with the accelerated ones from the manufacturer.
