I tried to purchase the game today, but it won't accept my card.

PayPal takes a lot of time to get the money in, so I'm wondering if there is any other way to pay, because I am eager to play the beta.

Possibly Mastercard

I'm not 100% sure, but I think my friend bought minecraft with a mastercard. So if you have one, it may be worth a shot =|

i bought the game earlier today and had the same problem, i made a paypal account from the link on the page to buy the game, and signed up with my visa card. paypal worked perfectly and i bought the game as soon as my paypal account was made. make a paypal account with your mastercard and it will work, good luck :)
