I was thinking we could have pets in minecraft like dogs that go out during the day and catch meat and bring it back to you and then they sleep at night. So just tell me what you think.

to balance it ou make dogs hard to find and have 5 hearts. if they run out of hearts they die like you do. some other pet ideas would maybe be
parrots- found high up in mountanous regions,parrots will fly by your side and when near a angry mob theyll fly over to them(allowing you to avoid sneak attacks).parrots will have 1 1/2 hearts.
cats-cats will be found in random holes. cats will have a 25% chance when near water to recover a fish.cats have 2 1/2 hearts of health.
and a idea for where to find dogs is near pigs spawing areas.they should have 4 hearts of health. for making them your freinds when you walk by them they will become your freind.

Good idea but still to easy to get food. How about it just gets meat from idiot pigs or from pigs you killed from a distance.
