Hi there,
I have purchased and downloaded Minecraft for single-player use offline in a public library. My problem is that Minecraft requires me to log in each time I want to play. I would like to set it up so that a child may come in, sit down at the PC, click Minecraft icon on desktop and start playing - but I don't see how that is possible. Is it?
I have also tried checking the "Remember Password" option, but it does not seem to stick. I would prefer to hide that information away so that I am not constantly resetting our password!
I have never played this game, but it looks interesting. When testing play online after updating to latest release, I drowned. :( The game looks fun and I am excited to provide a new game for the community to learn about! If only I can get it setup!
Help!
Many thanks...
Jill
It's simple, just put the username in the client, with no password. When they click login, it will be unable to and a "Play Offline" button will appear. Just make sure you write down the username where they can find it in case someone erases it or uses their own account.
EDIT: This only works after you've logged in with your password once on that computer.
Right down in the lower right corner. It has to not be able to find your username or password though.
I had this same problem once I got Minecraft, All you have to do is put in the e-mail you put to sign up on mojang and the password you set on mojang and Bam your playing
you just type mojang email done
wrong person to say that too
