kimozagi, the World of Minecraft client version is currently 2.0.7 on MAC osx, (the 2.0.7 version gives that error), so, you could wait for the World of Minecraft client to update to 2.0.8 for MAC osx, or you could check out XWOM, at the MCDzienny website/forums.

The World of Minecraft client was built mainly for realms. Realms is now gone so there is no reall need for World of Minecraft to continue developing free software.
