So you guys have probably started seeing new options on posts & comments showing votes and user points and wondering what the heck its all about?
Well it is quite simple...
If you like, agree or just find a post/comment helpful, you can give it a vote to award that person some [userpoints] for contributing and rank up that post.
You yourself can earn userpoints by:
- Posting new topics
- Commenting on other posts
- Voting on other posts
- Making good posts so that others vote on you
- Making contributions to the image gallery
- Making blog posts
- ... and various other sneaky contributions around the site :)

Points are for letting people know if a user is good or not, for example: if someone makes a post saying the World of Minecraft client is a virus, but only had 5 points, you shouldn't trust him/her.
