Hi,
I'm an admin on "A New World Begins". We are about a month old, and we run on Minecraft Classic.
Been trying to change the way users interact with our server by creating portals. I've checked out all the tutorials to do it, and have tried doing it myself, but with no luck.
When I type /portal water multi and place the blocks for the portal, then a red block to finish, and walk through the newly created portal, I get a 'portal had no exit' error. I am using McLawl, and I know that it does work with McLawl, but would like to know why it doesn't work with this. If anyone has an idea, I'd love to hear it.

There seems to be a problem with MCLawl software because it's same with me and I don't know why.../about command doesn't work also :'( please help us!

MySQL is used to track block changes, zones, portals and other non-game-standard areas. Check the guides about installing MySQL (there's one at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7mTe8UxkSU, but this one is really old, it's for McZall, but the basis is exactly the same). If you still have issues, reply back here, and I'll write a step-by-step guide to installing and getting MySQL up and running.

The problem might be lag, have you had any lag recently? This happens quite often, all the servers I go onto have the same problem, especially when there's lag.
Another cause could be of server shutdown, did you shutdown the server recently? The solution is to reset all of the portals. How do you reset the portals? Well...
1. Type in chat, /portal show.
2. Type in, /delete
3. Delete all of the portals, then replace them with new portals.
If that doesn't work, try contacting the owner of the server, or contact the World of Minecraft staff.
If you are the owner, try contacting the people who made Mclawl if they are active (If they still go on the website of Mclawl).
