Problem with client.

I put the .jar from minecraft.net into lib, then pressed run. It opened a command prompt made a bunch of lines of java then gives me this error:
C:\program files\java\jre1.6.0_05\bin\java.exe
help?

It's ok this one is the official one it's in the client download page in World of Minecraft website everyone has it to use client.

Is your java.exe missing and according to that version try updating your JDK they have update 22 now that might help.
By the way what was the link that you downloaded the minecraft.jar from?
