Well heres the deal. I've trying to use World of Minecraft forever and it still wont connect even though I have my Java up-to-date, my minecraft username and password correct, and I even used command prompt to troubleshoot it and it still wont connect. I've come to the conclusion that World of Minecraft wont honor the proxy settings I have. I was wondering if it was possible to add a proxy option for those who use proxies in their networks.

Thanks,
lordaragos

I highly doubt this would

I highly doubt this would happen cause it would make it for Ipbans on a server were pointless if you could just proxy with the client into one. This is just my opinion.

Thats not what a proxy is for....

A proxy is a way of protecting the inside your network. It wont change your external ip address. What I was saying is that there should be an option where you can input the network's proxy internal ip and port so then you can connect to the internet. I already have the settings setup on my browser when I play on minecraft.net. My ip wouldn't change if I setup World of Minecraft to go through my proxy.
