Random Cross found on my Minecraft Server

So I've been working on a world for a SMP server that my community is building. I'm flying around looking for a suitable area for a Castle for the Camelot Class and I find this just sitting on the ground.
I'm wondering if it is a sign from the Minecraft God to build Camelot here?
Check it out...just kinda funny considering I was looking for a spot for Camelot and I swear, I didn't create this (nor did anyone else as was found in uncharted area)...just stumbled upon it.

It's a shame though, looking at the world map more, it appears that this cross is on the fringe of the territory of the Viking Class. I'm pretty sure once the server is open to the public, the Vikings will most likely conquer this area and destroy this natural relic... or will they?
