I searched, trust me. I don't really know much about minecraft. I am lookin for help for my 9 year old. He created a new world in Survival mode. He played this world for a few days. Now it is gone from the load menu. Is there a way to recover this world. It is on a Mac by the way. And please remember I am not familiar with the game so I will need direction slow and easy. Thanks so very much. I have actually started to play too so in the future maybe I can be more help to myself.

Hmm

Did it just go or did he delete it? If he deleted it I don't think there's a way to get it back. If not, I don't know much about macs but on windows, you click run, type in %appdata%, go to the .minecraft folder, then go to saves and it should be in there. After that I'm not quite sure what to do but I hope that helps :P

Answer!

1.First, check your 'saves' folder.

Ask your child what the name of the world was.
2.If there isn't a folder named that, check your 'Trash' bin.
3.Click the spotlight button (the magnifying glass)
and search the name of the world.
4. If you find it somewhere, drag it into the 'saves' folder!
Voila!
Your welcome.
