Resolved: Old Minecraft server?

After reviewing this thread on the official forums I've grown to miss the old level generation and the maps that came out of it, like my very first two servers. I've been wondering if anyone knows of an archived copy of the old server? Something before or around June of 2009?

Yes, but you would simply swap out the old server for a new one after the level was generated.

Nice idea, but the old server won't work with the current client. You'd need to get a copy of the minecraft.jar from that time as well.
