Game test 4: CONCLUDED.
Thankyou to everyone who participated, I learned alot about the gameplay to expect, and I need to work on the map some more to fix some balance issues.
Brief Synopsis:
-This game is my vision for a team based, somewhat tactical game of Minecraft, with some very light story to give it some depth. It is not ready, but after our first 2 tests, the responses are pretty positive, and we will continue to develop this game mode further. Please post your suggestions, thoughts, or requests to join a game. Thanks for reading!
At it's core, this game is a team deathmatch. But it is broken up into segments wherein organization and teamwork are crucial for success. I hope you find it in you to read on and learn more bout this game.

Vanilla Gameplay with mods to protect gameplay
The gameplay is entirely vanilla in that; there are no sneaky special modified ways to obtain any items. Everything must crafted or looted. Plugins are in place to protect the sanctity of the rules we have in place.
Rise of Green Rebels
The Rebels, once co-existed with the Blue Royals quite peacefully. With the election of a most corrupt politician, riots became a natural sight in the streets of towns. Funding of schools and kitchens were cut drastically and instead were put towards exploring and conquering new lands. The resources of which went to do more of the same, as the world never seemed to end...
The chasm between the Blue Royals and her people began to stretch. Many skipped town and formed an alliance of citizens who were devoted to bringing back the honest land that once was. They were called: The Green Rebels. This story has an quantum f***-ton of socio-political-economical factors that I won't go into, but trust me, it's epic.

Gameplay:
Team Meeting At Barracks:
Organize your team, split people up into teams and decide what you need at the most efficient rate possible. Lumberjacks, miners, farmers... 3 keys to success! Before the game officially begins, you will be given time to set up your respawn point by laying in a bed for 10 seconds.
Economy:
Go out and start working! Gather resources, and either bring them back to base, or create outposts to store goods until battle time arrives! Be wary, the other team may attack you in the wilderness. But you can do the same...
The Eve of Battle:
When it begins to rain/snow, that is your warning to begin getting your resources back to your respective bunker, and prepare for war. Be sure you share resources and make sure your team is well equipped. The Battlemaster will announce what type of arena battle will be fought: VIP or Arson.
- VIP:
In VIP, each team is given a VIP Token (Glowstone Dust). The team will decide together who is responsible for being the VIP. If the VIP is killed, their token must be obtained and returned to your teams VIP. 2 glowstones will be presented to a BattleMaster to be granted the victory.
- Arson:
In Arson, each team has a 3x4 block of colored wool that is to be defended. The objective is to burn your enemies block of wool while defending your own. Water may be used to douse fire, but not left over the wool. You will be allowed to walk back into the arena in this mode.
PREPARE FOR WAR!
Hints of an impending battle will be given. The exact opening of the War Door WILL NOT BE GIVEN. Instead, once the hints start, be sure you have someone watching the door to have the jump on the enemy. The battlemaster will flick the switch to open both arena doors at the same time. Pour out and put your best tactics to work! You will be timed on your entering of the arena, if you do not make it, your team fights without you.
Return To Base
Victors and survivors both return to their bases while the door is open. It will stay open for 1 minute from an announcement, and all those who are in the arena after it closes, will be killed. MAKE IT BACK ON TIME!

Media:
The inside of the bunkers has a barracks area with available beds to set your spawn, as well as a forge to craft your weapons.
Select for yourself ONE bed to use as your respawn. Do not take someone else's as it might mess up the respawn.
The snow signals the "Eve Of Battle" segment of the game.
The battlefield is large, use it's size to your advantage and flank your enemy!
The rebels have built fortifications from previous battles, use them!
The Rebels have them on the run!

RULES:
- You may NOT enter or harass the enemy barracks.
- You may NOT enter the arena unless advised to do so by a Battlemaster.
- You may NOT use lava IN THE ARENA!
- You may NOT start a mine in the starting barracks. AND DO NOT MINE OR DIG TOWARDS THE ARENA!!
- You MAY start forest fires within the arena.
- You may build in the arena ONLY with wooden planks.

Custom Skins!
-We have created custom skins to allow teams to be easily identifiable. We have multiple variations of skins to allow diversity on the battlefield as well. Battle Masters are dressed all the same as well. **It is required to download and use the custom skin to play the Rise of the Rebels (RotR) SMP Livestream Event.**

Strategies:
-During the Gathering phase of the game, there is nothing preventing your team from sneaking on the enemy. Do you wish to sacrifice valuable gather time to sneak on the enemy? Risk V. Reward, choose wisely.
-Organization is key!! Communicate with your team via Ventrilo and keep your VIP alive! Split into squads if you have the numbers for it. Keep your archers back.
-USE YOUR SNEAK (shift default) KEY! This will hide your name when behind any object. Use it to keep your moves hidden from sight!
-Having one teammate on a jump tower in the arena is handy to relay info of enemy movements, however, these jump towers can EASILY be burned down. And leave players extremely vulnerable.
