well that is true, i have been trying to advertise in as many places as i can...........advertise is such horrible term but thats pretty much what it is.
i am really pushing to find new players as i am heading up the creation of an actual player run gamewide training alliance for new players.
i and a few other of the oldest players are trying this out. so we all just posting our link where we can. get us some new blood in and see if we can pull this venture off.
currently the game has a crappy tutorial and dozen broken training alliances. but ours would represent all styles of play in the game in one place.
something like the schools in uncharted waters online.

I am posting here just to try and talk up and recuit new players to a beta game that is in dire need of growth. I am one of the oldest remaining players in this space based browser game. and am currently implementing the first offical training alliance for the game. a school to learn, grow and have security while you advance and decide where and how you would like to play the game. this alliance is new. but we will be having experts to cover any questions and help train new players covering all different play styles.
once in just look up "Conquest Training Institute" in the alliance list and apply. you will be taken in at the very soonest moment. make sure to browse the tutorial and join the facbook based game forums group(link is at top middle of screen)

Ugh, this is a bit of a grey space. We have a rule against advertisements, but it really only applies to Minecraft-related things.
I'm going to leave this up for now, but I'm talking with other staff members about it.
