i set up my server about a week ago but i have a dyn ip, so i was thinking about getting a domain for my server, i went on google and found a post on minecraft forum saying i should go in dyndns.com, set up a free domain and do a "A-record", i set up my domain, intalled the program to auto update my ip, but i dont know what the A-record is, i was thinking is for the port because i havent found out how to set it up, (and i cant connect right now using the domain, even tryed writing :25565 at the end and it didnt work) my port is open coz if ppl use my ip:25565 they can connect, but i wanted to use the domain so that they didnt have to change the ip every couple of days, any idea what i have to do?
