I'm trying to run a non World of Minecraft 1.3 server so I can get it through the school which blocks minecraft.net and the 1.5 client, but I'm getting errors. I would use 1.5 for a regular server but this is for my mod testing with my friend.

Notes:

After that line is a bunch of failed connection attempts to my server from my computer using local host, internal ip and external ip. I am connnecting from version 1.3_01 which my jar supports so whats wrong.

I think the *:25565 is messed up but I have no clue what to do.

I did port forward already.

Also, the externalurl file isnt coming up in the folder. The folder is on a flash drive though so I may just have to find it.

If anyone has an idea, please help. I would greatly appreciate it and will help you out if I can. If old servers don't work then does anyone have an idea how to transfer a world from my computer to his. I know the items wont pass unless they are in chests though.
