Setting up new server.

Afternoon all.
I just grabbed an old machine and set it up to run as a Minecraft Classic server, unforutunatly the new players seem to spawn in underground so I am building an entrance hall of sorts. Is there a script or some quick way to build text? sorta the same as the help stuff in the World of Minecraft Rookie area. Any help will be much appreciated.

no not really any that i know, but just build a tunnel down to them and it should be right.
