Installing textures easily!

The skin idea on how to install skins doesn't work.... it just makes World of Minecraft crash! I've made sure it was that, because when I rename the skin to terrain.png and put it in the folder, "skin", it crashes World of Minecraft by popping up with a white screen. As soon as I get rid of the file, the problem is fixed. What can I do??? X(

Yeah it does. You gotta replace char.png, not Terrain.png

He means the file in WoMClient/lib/minecraft.
But this is not the file you need for the skin.

then how do you get a skin do you delete the existing files and replace them with the skin u want??????

Okay, there is no way to change your seeable skin in game without actually buying Minecraft Beta. If you delete char.png and replace it with your own skin, when you play on any server anyone who originally didn't have a skin will have that skin. So if you want a skin, you have to buy beta.
