Im making a huge underground monster killing machine, and i was wondering: Is it possible for monsters to spawn in water? Thx :-)

Hey,
Indeedy they can't.
Juust put a bucket of water in the corner of a treasure room at a height and the monsters will be swept off all to one side, this makes it easy for an automatic farming system such as cacti or just by drowning them.

I tryed doing it and i think it is impossible. I have to make them spawn in the air and fall into running water then into cactus.
