Sound stopped working (SOLVED)
I was running World of Minecraft 1.6, and the sound stopped working a couple days ago. It worked just fine one day, and the next, the sound simply wouldn't work.
I upgraded to World of Minecraft 2.0.1 this afternoon, but the sound is still not working. Both music and sound are enabled in the options menu in-game. I think it might be a config issue, since my username and password were remembered from the old client, and I didn't have to type them in again when I started the new client. If so, where are these config files located, and what do I need to change in them?
Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply.
I forgot to mention in my first post (although, I think you assumed it) that I'm using a linux box. Specifically, I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 NE.
I deleted the directories of both clients, and I deleted the ".minecraft" directory from the home directory. I assume that's what you meant by "%appdata%." I logged-out and back in again, downloaded the newest version of World of Minecraft (2.0.5), and installed it. My username and password were already in the fields, though, so there must be another config file that I didn't delete. Sound still doesn't work, either.

Sound is broken for every Classic server and client. (I've deleted the .Minecraft folder, used World of Minecraft and minecraft.net and tried many others ways but It's still broken meaning It's MC.net's fault.)
I thought you meant windows
But yeah sounds don't work in minecraft classic or the World of Minecraft Game Client. It has been like that for a while.

That should resolve the issues.
