Installing textures easily!

I'm never going to fully make this, but I thought I would show it anyways.
Tree Saplings are Vines
Coal/Iron/Gold/Diamond are Question blocks with the color of the question mark representing which.
Clearly unfinished, but if anyone would like it to use or maybe edit and make better, here is a download.
Only clouds and terrain have been edited.

Looks like I left the mushrooms out of my screenshots, must have forgot.
Well the red one is a super mushroom and the brown one is a 1-up.
As for editing textures, there should be tutorials on this website.
Basically you just edit the image files inside minecraft.jar with something like photoshop or paint, this tells you how to get to that file.
