I have a mac and i know that i would like a texture pack. I took the minecraft.jar and changed it to minecraft.zip Then i clicked on it and it immediately downloaded a file named minecraft. It has all the original skins and mob's and textures. I replaced those original files with the ones I want (then i heard im supposed to put this back into the zip, which isnt possible)(i also heard that i change the .zip back to the .jar) I tried both of those things and they didn't work, still the normal blocks. Im stuck help please!
i right clicked and i clicked compres (that was all i could do having to do with this) and minecraft.jar.zip came out and so did a folder called minecraft do i put the textures into the minecraft folder then what? do i put that into the .jar.zip ? im still confused with that
