so I saw a youtube vid of someone playing on indev and it was obvious that they'd put a lot of work into the lvl so how can I save my indevs? or do i simply have to play forever getting super far only to exit and lose all progress ?

Infdev is the one Notch is currently working on. It has a map "three times the size the face of the Earth." It autosaves maps and has new tools. indev is just the super public one, which anyone can at least click the link to.

okay then it was ifdev is there a way to save them? because i saw it on you tube and stuff, also when I bring up the game from my downloaded files (not going on the browser) all my saved single player creatives arent showing up and even when a new lvl is generated I cant save from there either the buttons for load and saved are black not the normal clickable gray

To save on /indev/ click on "save file" and save it where ever you feel comfortable. the when loading hit "load file" and load the file from the directory you saved it to. for example you hit save file and you save it as "indev"to desktop, hit load file, go to your desktop and open the file "indev"

umm isnt there a SAVE FILE button when you press save game and you cant save infdevs you guys got it all wrong (i only read first 2 comments ^.^)
