Hi. I'm new to Minecraft and I downloaded the Custom Client so that I could fly and stuff. It works great. The problem I'm having is that I'm trying to put it onto my USB and use it on a different computer (testing this so that I can play at school when I have nothing to do), but I keep getting errors.
Then I tried running it off the computer itself instead of off of my USB and I got the same error. Sorry if this seems really dumb. I can only play single-player, can't play online.
If you want I can be more specific with what the error is later, just wanted to throw this thread up and check on it in a while.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well I tried it on my dad's computer before using a school computer, and made sure to download the latest Java - that wasn't it unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

So wait, did you download Java on your dads computer? Because is so then that won't help at your schools computer. Java needs to be downloaded at the schools computer for it to work.

I haven't tested it out on the school computer yet. Before I went to school I tested it out on my dads computer to see if it would work on a computer that isn't my own. I downloaded Java on it, didn't help. Tried to run it off the computer itself instead of the USB and it didn't help.

It is probably because you have blockers on the school computers which do not allow you to get on to minecraft.net....
