Introducing:

Fisheatsbear's World of Minecraft client download tutorial! (With pics!)

here goes.

step 1: login to the World of Minecraft site (you need an account with World of Minecraft)

step 2: click on downloads at the top of the page

step 3: Find the World of Minecraft Custom Client and click Download

step 4: at the bottom of the first post, look for womclient-1.5.9.zip and click on it

step 6: Click save. place the file where you will remember it
i put it on my desktop

step 7: extract the file by right clicking and going to "Extract All...", then saving this where you will remember it.

step 8: open the file and you should have this inside

step 9: Go back to the World of Minecraft client download page and look for this line (highlighted in yellow) This is your link to get the minecraft.jar EDIT: the url in this picture has changed, make sure and read the paragraph:

Step 10: enter it into your URL bar at the top

step 11: you will get another open/save screen. click save

step 12: save it in the lib folder of your World of Minecraft client

step 13: make sure its in there

step 14: click on the run.bat (out of the lib but still in the World of Minecraft client folder)

step 15: You should get 2 screens, one is the console, all the processess of the client show up here, including errors. The other is a login screen. Type your name and password from Minecraft.net (not your World of Minecraft name and password... unless its the same)

Step 16: Find a server (they are alphabetical) and click on it, then click go. (If no servers showed up, it is because you typed in your name/password wrong. Capitals is the main reason for this. fisheatsbear << wrong. Fisheatsbear << right)
